Cleaning Your StayAlive Water Filter

Regular Cleaning

  1. Rinse with clean water after each use
  2. Let air dry completely
  3. Store in dry location

Deep Cleaning

  1. Disassemble filter body
  2. Soak in clean water for 30 minutes
  3. Use soft brush on exterior
  4. Rinse thoroughly
  5. Air dry completely

Backflushing

For stubborn debris, backflush:

  1. Connect hose to output (reverse direction)
  2. Push clean water through
  3. Repeat 2-3 times

What NOT to Use

  • Soap or detergents
  • Bleach or chemicals
  • Abrasive materials
  • Dishwasher

Frequency

Deep clean every 10-20 uses or if flow decreases.
